Abstract
|
|
|
The function of the hand is all important for man from social, economic and cultural points of view. Consequently, the treatment of an injured hand has chiefly been aimed at functional recovery rather than at anatomical reconstruction.
Our experience with four illustrative cases of severe injuries of tendons, muscle and nerves of the hand is presented and functional recovery following various tendon transfer and graft is discussed.
